Bonus Terms Explained Simply
Online casino bonuses in the Philippines can look confusing at first — wagering requirements, rollover, sticky bonuses. Here's a plain-English guide to what all those terms actually mean before you claim anything.
Wagering Requirement / Rollover
This is the number of times you must bet your bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings from it. A 10x rollover on a ₱500 bonus means you need to place ₱5,000 in total bets before cashing out.
Example: ₱500 bonus × 15x rollover = ₱7,500 in bets needed before withdrawal is unlocked.
Maximum Bet During Bonus
While you have an active bonus, most casinos cap individual bet sizes — typically between ₱250 and ₱500 per round. Placing bets above this cap can void your bonus entirely, so watch the fine print.
Example: If the max bet cap is ₱300 and you bet ₱1,000 on a single spin, the bonus is forfeited.
Game Contribution
Not all games contribute equally toward clearing the wagering requirement. Slots typically contribute 100%, while table games like blackjack or baccarat may only count 10–20% of each bet.
Example: A ₱100 slot bet = ₱100 toward rollover. A ₱100 baccarat bet = only ₱15 toward rollover.
Bonus Expiry
Bonuses don't last forever. Common windows are 7, 14, or 30 days from the time of claim. If the wagering requirement isn't met within that window, the bonus and any associated winnings are removed.
Example: A 14-day bonus claimed on March 1 must be fully wagered by March 15 or it disappears.
Sticky vs Non-Sticky Bonus
A sticky bonus is permanently attached to your balance — you can win with it, but the bonus amount itself can never be withdrawn, only the net winnings above it. Non-sticky bonuses are separate and can be withdrawn once requirements are met.
Example: Sticky ₱500 bonus + you win ₱800 → you can withdraw ₱300 (winnings above the sticky amount).
Maximum Cash-Out
Some bonuses cap how much you can withdraw from bonus-derived winnings, regardless of how much you actually win. This limit protects the operator from unlimited liability on promotional offers.
Example: Max cash-out ₱5,000 on a free-spin bonus means even if you win ₱20,000, only ₱5,000 is withdrawable from that bonus.
Free Bet / Free Spin Value
Free bets and spins have a stated value, but winnings from them are usually treated as bonus money, not real money, until the wagering requirement is cleared. The stated value is the bet size, not a guaranteed payout.
Example: 20 free spins at ₱10 each = ₱200 in free-spin credit, subject to its own wagering terms.
